We are located on the main road into Sierpe and Cabinas Tica is one of the first houses you will see as you enter the gateway to the Osa.

By Air
Palmar Sur airstrip is an an easy 15 minute taxi cab ride away. Daily scheduled flights from San José on SANSA or Nature Air will cost about $70 one way.

By Taxi
The taxi ride to Sierpe from the international airport will cost $150 one way for up to 4 people and will take you 5 1/2 hours.

By Bus
There are daily bus connections from San José to Palmar Norte from San José. Bus stations are located at the airport and downtown San José. The bus ride will take about 5 1/2 hours. Then you would take a local bus or taxi for about 20 mins to Sierpe.

By Rented Car
Driving by rented car will take you 6 hours from San José and will take you over one of the highest points in Costa Rica through some spectacular scenery. There are several Car Rental services close to the airport in San José and they will meet your flight with a shuttle if you make advance reservations. We recommend Avanti, a Costa Rican owned and operated company.
